In the course of creating the print editions, Not Two was re-formatted, edited, and redesigned for print production. This full-color PDF version contains the original text and the original book design in 687 pages. It is best read in landscape view.

This PDF version of Not Two: The Appamada Story has some useful features. Open it in a PDF reader such as Apple Preview and you can zoom the text to a comfortable reading size. The PDF version of Not Two also contains links from the table of contents to the chapters. In the view menu you can choose to show the page thumbnails in a sidebar, which is a quick place to scroll through the book’s pages. You can also place bookmarks, highlight sections, and make comments or notes. The view is of page layouts, two-page spreads, which displays both the narrative text on the left-hand page and the photos, quotes, and sangha member reflections on the right-hand page. If you read it on a phone, you will lose the right-hand page, so it is probably best to read it on a computer or a tablet. The file for the book is quite large, so it may take a few minutes to download.

Most importantly, in this format we can keep the book affordable and still preserve the quality of the full-color illustrations. The print version has its own advantages, of course, and you may find even after reading this version, that you would like to have a print copy for reference, or for a sangha library.
